American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience for night shifts.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based diagnostic imaging environment
• Responsibilities include diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm, and fluoroscopic procedures
• Night shift position with 4 ten-hour shifts per week, either 8:00 PM-6:00 AM or 9:00 PM-7:00 AM
• Every other weekend rotation and a holiday rotation are required
• Utilizes specialized imaging equipment, including radiology information systems such as PACS
• Patient population includes diverse inpatient and emergency room scenarios

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT(R) Radiography registration required
• IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois
• Approved BLS or CPR certification required within 90 days of start
• Minimum of 2 years of radiology technologist experience required
• Expert knowledge of EMR, PACS, and imaging equipment is necessary
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform and document all aspects of diagnostic imaging procedures, including proper patient positioning and radiation safety
• Ensure accurate image quality and patient identification
• Assist with medical record and image sharing, as well as medication reconciliation documentation
• Participate in patient and staff scheduling and provide instruction to radiography students and new technologists
• Assist radiologists during fluoroscopic and special X-ray procedures
• Scrub attire required
