Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT/X-ray Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification to support a busy Level III trauma center.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital CT and X-ray department
• Combo CT Tech/X-ray Tech position with floating to nearby facility as needed
• Perform diagnostic, fluoroscopy, and surgery cases in X-ray and a wide range of CT scans except select cardiac studies (expected to be added soon)
• Busy Level III trauma center setting with average daily caseload of 35-50 patients per tech
• Schedule includes day shifts (Thursday–Sunday) with potential for schedule change once FT staff goes on leave and required call/holiday coverage
• Weekend work required for call coverage but not regular schedule
• Uses Meditech EMR; experience with GE and Siemens preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in radiology including at least 6 months in CT
• ARRT (CT) required
• Experience in X-ray required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to float between X-ray and CT and to sister facility within 15 minutes
• COVID-19 vaccination required with no exemptions
• Flu shot required during flu season with no declinations accepted
• License required if applicable
• Experience with Meditech, GE, and Siemens preferred
