American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for night shifts with proficiency in Siemens equipment and Epic EMR.

Details

• Work in a CT department within an acute care teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center
• Night shift schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM, with flexibility of +/- 1 hour on start time as needed
• Floating to a nearby clinic location may be required, located approximately half a mile from the main facility
• No on-call requirements
• Must be willing to work one holiday per 13-week contract, in rotation with staff

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT(R) certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Minimum experience with Siemens CT scanners required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Demonstrated understanding of radiation safety practices
• Valid Virginia state license required or any active state license accepted, with emergency authorization possible during VA license processing
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Local candidates are not accepted due to radius requirements
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Role includes preparation and administration of contrast media and ensuring radiation safety for all procedures
• Collaborate within a Level I Trauma and Magnet-designated environment, supporting a certified stroke center
• Potential requirement to provide coverage at a nearby affiliated location
• Holiday coverage may be assigned in rotation
• Must provide two professional references for consideration
