Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of adult echo experience and ARDMS and BLS certifications for an outpatient clinic assignment.

Details

• Work in an outpatient cardiology clinic setting
• Day shifts from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM, with occasional extension depending on patient needs
• No weekends and no on-call required
• Clinicians may float to other nearby facilities as needed
• Adult echo procedures include 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, imaging with contrast agents, M-Mode, RVIT, RVOT, routine studies, and treadmill stress echo
• Primary equipment includes GE, Philips, and Siemens systems
• EPIC (Excellian) EMR system experience required
• Blue scrubs are provided at the Waconia location and grey scrubs at Chaska

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in adult echocardiography
• Current ARDMS certification and BLS required
• Experience with advanced echo techniques and procedures as listed
• Epic (Excellian) EMR proficiency required
• Pending MN state license accepted if applicable; license required if applicable
• One supervisor reference required for consideration

• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Orientation includes pre-start online modules and EPIC charting training, with modules required before start
• Free parking is available on-site
• Return staff must have a 3-month break from their previous assignment
• Time off during assignment is ideally limited to no more than 5 days
• Local candidates are accepted for radiology roles
• Candidates must be prepared to float within their clinical scope to affiliate locations
