Description

American Traveler is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician with national SPT certification, BLS, and recent trauma center charge experience for a night shift contract.

Details

• Work in a trauma center setting
• Night shift schedule from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• May rotate up to 10 weekends per 13-week contract
• Position requires charge or supervisory responsibilities

Requirements

• National SPT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Recent experience at a Level 1 trauma center or comparable Level 2 within the last 2 years
• Charge or supervisory experience required
• Not open to local candidates; must live at least 75 miles from the facility
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsible for overseeing sterile processing operations and workflow
• Work in a fast-paced, high-acuity trauma environment
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support surgical services
• Holiday and weekend work may be required according to rotation
