American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a day shift OR travel contract, requiring certification and 2 years of experience.

Details

• Work in an operating room setting with a 7am-7pm shift schedule
• Position involves hospital-based surgical cases within an OR department
• 13-week travel contract assignment

Requirements

• CST/ORT certification required
• State license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in surgical technology
• Must have 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in a comparable role
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required, with documentation not expiring within the first 30 days of the contract
• No gaps in work history longer than 90 days over the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Must provide a professional reference as required by state (one for Colorado)
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius considered

Additional Information

• Duties include preparing OR suites, handling sterile instruments, and assisting the surgical team during procedures
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary team members in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Travelers are not eligible if they reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Must comply with facility-specific orientation requirements
