Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT CT certification for night shifts at a Level 1 trauma center.

Details

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital with outpatient and inpatient settings
• Level 1 trauma center with high complexity cases
• Uses Siemens CT scanners
• 4x10 hour night shifts from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Thursday
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Floating may be required within scope but not to sister facilities
• Patient caseload and procedure types include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
• EPIC charting system is used
• Experience in Level I trauma, teaching hospital, or adult ICU preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years CT tech experience required
• Current ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Valid MO state license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Experience in PACS and contrast administration required
• Siemens scanner experience preferred
• Skill in IV starts, portable studies, and biopsies preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted
• No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
• No more than 7 days of requested time off permitted in a 13-week contract; no time off allowed during orientation week
• Black, red, or white scrubs required
• Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Travelers may stay for up to 18 months with a 3-month break afterward
• Parking is available for night staff at no charge; orientation parking incurs a one-time fee
• Completion of education modules required during orientation
