Description

American Traveler is seeking a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, and BLS certifications and at least 2 years of experience in high-risk OB and GYN sonography.

Details

• Work in an outpatient OB/GYN clinic specializing in maternal fetal medicine
• Patient population consists of high-risk obstetrics and gynecology cases
• Perform level 1 OB scans, GYN scans, and a variety of abdominal and pelvic sonographic procedures
• Equipment used includes GE ultrasound systems
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 45-minute meal break
• No call and no weekend requirement
• Floating to other units may be required
• Contract staff may be assigned to Storm Team or Hurricane Team and may be required to report during catastrophic events

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in high-risk OB and GYN
• Current ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, and BLS certifications required
• Experience with high-risk OB scanning, GE machines, and Epic EMR
• Additional skills in abdominal aorta, pediatric and adult sonographic procedures, Fetal Anatomical Survey, and gynecological exams
• Preferred: Nuchal Translucency screening (NT), ARDMS FE certification
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing a wide range of OB/GYN, abdominal, renal, pelvic, and breast sonograms, as well as specialty procedures such as Fetal Anatomical Survey, amniotic fluid index, and breast cyst aspiration
• Must be able to adapt to clinic needs and float to other units as assigned
• Scrubs are not provided; any color scrubs may be worn
• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• No RTO (Requested Time Off) is permitted after booking
• Candidates should be prepared to work in disaster or emergency scenarios as assigned
