American Traveler seeks an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong proficiency in robotics and vascular procedures for a busy Level 2 Trauma surgical services position.

Details

• Work at a short-term acute care hospital in a busy surgical services department
• Full-time day shift, three 12-hour shifts per week (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
• Handles high-volume surgical cases with 60-70 procedures per day
• Covers a range of cases including ortho (total joints, trauma), neuro (cranial), general/trauma, vascular, GYN/URO, and advanced robotics
• Robotic Center of Excellence utilizing 3 Xi robots and 2 DV5s
• Level 2 trauma patient population with frequent AAA, carotid, and femoral vascular cases
• On-call required: four 8-hour call shifts per 4-week cycle
• Epic charting system used; prior experience not required
• Scrubs are provided by the facility

Requirements

• Current CST certification required
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CST, including eye (vitrectomies, scleral buckles, retina, cataracts), general, orthopedic and neuro trauma, basic urology, and major vascular cases (AAAs)
• Strong proficiency in robotics and vascular procedures is required
• Experience in busy Level 2 trauma setting required, Level 1 preferred
• Must be able to work independently, especially for knees, hips, and optionally shoulders without sales rep assistance
• Travel experience is required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• License required if applicable; pending licenses will be considered

• Call schedule, weekend requirements, and block scheduling may vary and will be discussed during the hiring process
