American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong vascular and endovascular experience for a hospital surgical services position.

Details

• Work in a hospital operating room covering general surgery, ENT, dental, GYN, urology, plastics, neuro, ortho/spine, orthopedics, vascular, and DaVinci robotics cases
• Day shift (5x8 hours), 6:30am – 3:00pm
• On-call one day a week and one weekend every four weeks
• Ability to float to different units as needed
• Epic experience is preferred
• Scrubs are provided

Requirements

• Formal CST education with a technical diploma required; on-the-job training will not be accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CST
• Strong vascular and endovascular experience required
• CST and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Two professional references required
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be considered as a traveler

Additional Information

• Main responsibilities include scrubbing and assisting for a wide variety of surgical specialties including complex vascular and endovascular procedures
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Return staff must have a 2-year gap before being eligible to travel again
• Modules must be completed during orientation and annually
• Candidate is required to schedule and complete labs within specified timeframes after signing
• Strict do not call policy applies
• Two forms of identification, including driver’s license and SS card, will be required
