American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience to work weekend night shifts with on-call duties.

Details

• Position is based in a short-term acute care, teaching hospital setting
• Night weekend shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Three on-call shifts per month are required
• Block schedules are utilized
• No floating between units within the facility, but floating to nearby affiliated hospitals may be required
• Epic EMR system is used and experience is required
• Patient ratios are not specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Current required state license if applicable
• Experience working with Epic EMR
• Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Ability to work night and weekend shifts
• Must have reliable vehicle for travel to affiliated facilities

Additional Information

• Scrub attire can be any color, with scrubs provided in OR and Cath Lab settings
• Modules for training must be completed prior to start and annually
• All travelers are expected to float between hospitals within the state if needed
• Must commit to working at least 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
• RTO (requested time off) is limited to 6 total days or 3 consecutive days and must be requested up-front
• Returning permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Local candidates are accepted at a lower bill rate
• Parking is free for staff
