Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist (CAT Scan Tech) with at least one year of experience and an active Maryland license for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Details

• Work in a dedicated CT scanner department with a focus on performing CT imaging procedures
• Day shifts scheduled Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Position involves direct interaction with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff
• Supports procedures such as biopsies and drainage under physician guidance

Requirements

• Active Maryland license required if applicable
• Registered Radiologic Technologist certification (ARRT) required
• Current CPR certification required
• Completion of two years of occupationally specific education or an Associate’s degree in radiology technology required
• At least 1 year of CT technologist experience required
• Experience in facilities with 500+ bed count strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Duties include counseling patients, obtaining consent for IV injections, positioning patients, and operating scanning equipment
• Candidates must be comfortable assisting physicians with interventional procedures such as biopsies and drainage
• Patient interaction and multidisciplinary teamwork are essential parts of this role
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate, except for specific hospital exceptions
• Scrub or dress code policies will be provided by the facility
