Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Orthopedic Technician with NBCOT certification and outpatient experience for a day shift position.

Details

• Work in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• Day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• Primary location is Westlake Village, with rare floating possible to Tarzana or Mission Hills clinics
• Epic charting system is used and Epic experience is required

Requirements

• NBCOT certification is required
• At least 2 years of orthopedic technician experience in an outpatient setting
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience is required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Locals are accepted

Additional Information

• Floating to additional clinics within the state may be required, though rare
• Returning employees must have a minimum 3 month break in service and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal to no requested time off is preferred; excessive requests may hinder consideration
• Two recent supervisory references within the last 3 years are required for consideration
• Modules must be completed pre-start and annually
• RTO and schedule change requests must be addressed during initial consideration
