American Traveler is seeking a CAT Scan Tech with ARRT certification, an active Maryland license, and experience at a comparably sized facility.

Details

• Position based in a hospital CT scan unit
• Schedule includes four 9- or 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Day 12 shifts available, running from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Role involves performing a wide range of CT procedures, assisting with biopsies and drainages, and operating CT scanners and related equipment

Requirements

• Active Maryland Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
• ARRT certification required
• CPR certification required
• Completion of at least two years of occupationally specific education or an Associate’s degree in radiology technology
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Experience in a facility with 500+ bed count or comparable setting

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include counseling patients about CT procedures, assisting with patient positioning, and securing consent for intravenous injections
• Collaboration with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff is essential
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate except for specified locations
