American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with cardiovascular OR experience for a surgical unit position with significant call responsibilities.

Details

• Position is based in a surgical cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) unit
• Typical shift is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Approximately 14 days of call per month are required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CST, preferably in a CVOR setting
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assisting in cardiovascular surgical procedures and maintaining a sterile environment
• Must be able to respond to frequent call shifts as part of the surgical team
• No local rates are offered for CSTs in any state
• COVID vaccination card may be required
