Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 1 year of experience and BLS certification for day shift surgical services.

Details

• Work in a surgical services unit as a Certified OR Scrub Tech
• Day shifts with start times between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM, 8-hour shifts, 48 hours per pay period
• Every third weekend and holiday coverage required
• Call response within 20 minutes
• Must participate in in-person fingerprinting in Minnesota on the Monday prior to start, per state requirements

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Minimum 1 year of surgical technology experience
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Willingness to complete required laboratory testing within 48 hours of signing
• Willing to comply with fingerprinting requirements in Minnesota and cover related travel costs

Additional Information

• Duties include preparing the operating room, assisting with surgical procedures, and ensuring a sterile environment
• Holiday shifts are required as necessary
• No local candidates will be considered (defined as within 25 or 50 miles of the facility)
• Previous permanent staff must be separated for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Request for time off limited to 7 days and must be approved in advance; no time off permitted during the first two weeks
• Medical or religious exemption form required for vaccine waiver requests
