American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT (MRI), CA license, and recent experience to join their team, working with both mobile and upgraded GE units.

Details

• Position is in a hospital setting in the MRI department
• Primary responsibilities include working with a GE mobile MRI unit initially, transitioning to an upgraded GE in-house unit during the assignment
• Day shifts are either 6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with a rotating schedule: work Thursday-Saturday then Monday-Wednesday, followed by 7 days off
• Patient population and specific caseload characteristics are not specified
• Epic charting experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active CA Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
• Current ARRT (MRI) certification required
• Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
• Must provide 2 supervisor references obtained within the last year
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of acceptance

Additional Information

• Assignment includes both use of a mobile MRI unit and transition to utilizing upgraded in-house GE equipment
• Modules are required as part of orientation, completed through e-learning
• Only one holiday requested off will be approved during the contract
• Return staff must have been gone for at least one year to be eligible
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status
• Locals are accepted but at a lower rate
• Orientation includes completion of specific modules determined by specialty
