Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant with at least one year of experience and C-section expertise to work in both surgical and birthing environments.

Details

• Work in hospital surgical services and birthing inn units
• Schedule includes 10:00AM–6:30PM shifts Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in surgery
• Wednesdays are 7:00AM–3:30PM in the birthing inn
• On-call required: two weeknights (11:00PM–7:00AM) and every third weekend for 24-hour C-section coverage in the birthing inn
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes to on-call shifts

Requirements

• NBSTSA certification required
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Certified Surgical First Assistant
• Experience assisting in C-sections required
• Must be able to work in both surgery and birthing environments
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Position does not accept first-time travelers
• Local candidates are accepted
• Must provide coverage for C-sections as part of on-call duties
