American Traveler is seeking a GI/Endo Tech with at least 2 years of inpatient experience and BLS certification for a night shift position.

Details

• Work in a hospital GI/Endoscopy unit on the night shift
• Schedule consists of 4x10 hour shifts from 17:00 to 07:30
• Duties include assisting with bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, dilations, and endoscopy cases, including procedures with and without robotic assistance
• Patient population includes those requiring specialized GI procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a GI/Endo Tech in an inpatient setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and dilations
• Strong technical skills with specialty GI procedures
• DC state license required if applicable
• Open to first-time travelers with strong Endo Tech experience
• Flu vaccination is required

Additional Information

• Candidates assist physicians with a range of GI and endoscopy procedures, including advanced specialty cases
• Light green scrubs must be worn per department guidelines
• Orientation includes modules that may be completed pre-start and during initial training
• Return staff must have been separated from employment for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract is preferred and all requests must be submitted with the application
• No time off approved during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted but may be offered a different rate
