Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with high-capacity OR experience for a rotating day/evening CST traveler position.

Details

• Work in a high-capacity hospital operating room as a float CST
• Schedule consists of 4x10 or 4x12 hour shifts with day/evening rotation, including at least 2 weeks of nights per contract
• Includes at least 2 short calls per 4 week schedule and weekend shifts
• Shift hours vary: days and evenings with specific start/end times by shift and day
• EPIC charting system is used, with experience preferred

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through NBSTSA or NCCT is required
• Must have experience in a high-capacity operating room setting
• AHA certifications are required
• MA license required if applicable; MA conditional licenses not accepted
• Proof of MA licensure must be provided prior to consideration
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include floating to various ORs based on facility needs
• Candidates will be trialed on evening shifts, with primary shift set according to skills and needs
• Parking is not validated; public transportation or paid lots are recommended
• Local candidates within 60 miles receive a 5% lower rate
• Dress code and scrub information will be provided during onboarding
