American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a day shift position in Labor & Delivery with recent specialized experience required.

Details

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Day shift schedule from 08:00 to 17:00
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for laboring mothers and assist with L&D surgical procedures

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST/ORT) credential required
• State license required if applicable
• AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Minimum of 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in a surgical tech role
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Submission requires US SSN and full DOB (no Canadian SSNs accepted)
• Professional reference required; two references if licensed in Florida or Missouri, otherwise one

Additional Information

• Assist the L&D team with surgical procedures and deliveries as a core member of the care team
• Coordinate with nurses and physicians to ensure safe and efficient L&D operations
• Not accepting local candidates; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Scrub role requires maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to infection control protocols
