American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of CT experience for an acute care setting.

Details

• Position is in an acute care hospital on a CT/Radiology unit
• Responsibilities include CT scans, x-rays in the ED, portable work on floors and CCU, and coverage in OR, PACU, and outpatient areas
• Casualty Access Hospital (CAH) trauma level
• Uses GE Proteus and P500 x-ray rooms, Konica DR, GE OEC Carm Elite, GE AMX 240 Portable Xray, CT Canon Aquilion SP, Medrad contrast injector, Sectra PACS, and Epic Radiant EMR
• Rotating day/night 12-hour shifts with 3 shifts per week, 1 in 4 weekends, and about 60% overnight and 40% daytime coverage including CT, x-ray, and surgical cases
• Floating may occur to OR, ER, portable x-ray, inpatients, outpatients, and CT as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
• Current and active ARRT and BLS certifications required
• MN state license required if applicable
• ARRT CT certification preferred but not required if CT experience can be demonstrated
• Experience using Epic EMR and Sectra PACS systems preferred

Additional Information

• Duties involve performing CT scans and x-rays in multiple areas, including the emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient settings
• Will assist with surgical and portable imaging as needed across various units
• Gray scrubs are required as per department dress code
• All candidates must badge in and out when reporting to the facility
• Holiday and weekend coverage required as part of rotating shifts
• Candidates who were previously employed must have been separated for at least six months before consideration
