American Traveler is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist First Assist with CVOR and vein harvesting experience for a hospital-based contract assignment.

Details

• Work in a hospital CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) First Assist unit
• Role includes vein harvesting procedures
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST/ORT) with active certification required
• State license required if applicable
• At least 2 years of CVOR First Assist experience
• Recent experience in surgical technology within the last 6 months required
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required with no expiration within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Must submit professional references as per state requirements: two for Florida and Missouri, one for other states

Additional Information

• Assist surgeons with cardiovascular procedures and perform vein harvesting
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Role does not accept local candidates who live within a 50-mile radius
• Appropriate scrubs or dress code required per department policy
