American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of recent OR experience for a 13-week hospital assignment in Virginia.

Details

• Work in an operating room (OR) setting supporting surgical procedures
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Caring for surgical patients across varied case types

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST/ORT) credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Surgical Technologist in an OR setting
• Active state license required if applicable
• BLS certification accepted from AHA or ARC, with no certification expiring within the first 30 days
• At least 6 months of OR experience within the last 6 months
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the last 12 months
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and DOB for consideration
• Must provide at least one professional reference from a recent position (Florida and Missouri require two references)
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility—no local candidates accepted

Additional Information

• Responsible for preparing and maintaining sterile surgical equipment and assisting surgical teams
• May be required to assist in a variety of surgical specialties based on patient needs
• Must comply with facility and unit-level protocols and safety standards
• Orientation will be provided upon assignment start date
• Professional attire is required per hospital policy
