Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist with ARRT certification, 2+ years of experience, and proficiency with Epic Radiant and PACS systems.

Details

• Work in emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient settings
• Patient population includes a broad range of cases in a hospital environment
• Schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• Requires flexibility to work weekends and cover one or two twelve hour on-call shifts per month with 1-hour response time
• Epic Radiant EMR and Visage PACS are used; experience required
• Equipment includes Fuji and Phillips X-ray machines
• Three-day floor orientation provided
• Black scrubs required; OR scrubs provided if assigned

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• Active VA Radiologic Technologist license required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum of 2 years recent X-ray tech experience required
• Experience working in ED, inpatient, and outpatient imaging settings required
• Proficient use of Epic Radiant and Visage PACS required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Duties include performing diagnostic radiographic exams in a fast-paced environment
• Holiday shifts are integrated into the work schedule
• Must be able to respond to call within one hour
• Three-day orientation covers unit-specific protocols and practices
