Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with at least one year of recent cardiovascular OR experience for an open heart surgery CVOR position.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital open heart surgery unit
• Operates primarily in the CVOR with cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases
• Day shift from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius

Requirements

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• At least 1 year of recent experience in the CVOR specialty required
• Active driver’s license required for consideration
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at this health system within the past 2 years are not eligible
• Requests for time off must be less than 1 week
• No Canadian Social Insurance Numbers accepted
• Applicants must maintain an updated work history and professional profile
• No first-time travelers specified; prior travel experience preferred
