American Traveler seeks an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist with recent CVOR open heart surgery experience for a hospital position.

Details

• Work in a hospital open heart surgery (CVOR) unit
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• 13-week contract assignment
• Adult cardiovascular patient population

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) or open heart surgery
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the contract
• Active driver’s license required for consideration
• License required if applicable
• No significant gaps in work history (no more than 90 days within the past 12 months)
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility (local travelers not accepted)

Additional Information

• Duties include assisting in open heart surgical procedures and maintaining sterile technique
• Candidates currently or recently employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible
• RTO (time off) requests must be for less than 1 week
• Previous experience in cardiac surgery team environments preferred
