Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with strong orthopedic experience for an 8-hour day shift position including call responsibilities.

Details

• Work in a surgical unit with a focus on orthopedic, general, gynecological, and ENT cases
• Five 8-hour day shifts per week scheduled from 06:30 to 15:00
• Six-week schedule including seven late call shifts (15:00-18:00) and seven overnight call shifts (15:00-06:30)
• Weekend and holiday call coverage is required

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Strong orthopedic surgical experience required, with general, gynecological, and ENT experience preferred
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Prepare the operating room and ensure all required equipment and instruments are sterile and ready
• Assist the surgical team throughout procedures in orthopedic, general, gynecological, and ENT specialties
• Participate in call rotation, including weekends and holidays
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
