Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of recent operating room experience and robotics, orthopedics, general, and ob-gyn case expertise.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital operating room setting
• Involves surgical procedures across robotics, orthopedics, general, and ob-gyn specialties
• Day shift with the choice of 3x12hr (7a-7:30p) or 5x8hr (7a-3:30p) schedules
• Call required: 1-2 nights per week, first and second shift, and one weekend every six weeks

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in an OR environment
• CST credential or graduation from an accredited surgical technology program required
• Experience with robotics, orthopedics, general, and ob-gyn surgeries required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Role involves assisting surgeons and ensuring proper management of surgical instruments and sterile field
• All certifications must be valid for at least the first 30 days of the assignment
• Applicants who have worked as perm staff for this hospital system within the past 2 years are not eligible
• No local travelers are accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Scrub attire appropriate for the operating room is required
• Orientation is provided at the start of the assignment
• Assignment offers auto-offer process with no interview required
