American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technician for a Same Day Surgery unit, requiring 2 years of specialty experience and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Details

• Position is in a Same Day Surgery unit within a hospital setting
• Full-time schedule with four 10-hour variable shifts Monday through Friday
• No call responsibilities required
• Epic charting system used, training provided during orientation or option to test out

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technician in a relevant setting
• Certification must be from the American Heart Association if applicable
• Ability to use electronic medical records, specifically Epic
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• A 13-week break is required for returning travelers upon completion of a contract
• No blocked scheduling is permitted for this assignment
• RTO must be requested in advance and will not be added to the end of the contract
• Candidates must be located at least 60 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Holiday coverage for at least two major holidays is required
• KRONOS timekeeping system is utilized
