American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of acute care experience and required ARRT certification for a busy trauma imaging department.

Details

• Work in an acute care setting as part of the CT scan department
• Department has 2 scanners: GE VCCT 64 Lightspeed and GE Revolution
• Performs trauma imaging including brain, head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, maxillofacial, soft tissue neck, extremities, spines, stroke protocol, CT pulmonary, CTA-angiography, and CT urograms
• Average volume of 100 scans per day
• Shifts are 10 hours with options for 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM or 6:30 AM – 3:00 AM, weekend shifts required
• On-call required: Mon-Fri 9:00 PM – 6:30 AM and Sat/Sun 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Possible floating to imaging/x-ray as needed
• Uses Cerner EMR and PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years CT technologist experience in an acute care or trauma setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Certified CT Technologist – ARRT (CT), Certified Radiologic Technologist – ARRT (R), and Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist license required
• License required if applicable
• COVID vaccine required
• Must be able to start IVs
• Experience using Cerner EMR and PACS preferred

• Department-specific orientation provided
• Radiologist is in-house for support
• Weekend shift coverage is required; holiday coverage is not required
• Candidates must provide a copy of their driver’s license for consideration
• Two professional references are required, including one from a supervisor within the past 12 months and one from either a peer or supervisor from within the past 3 years
