American Traveler is seeking an experienced EP Technologist for a dynamic electrophysiology lab role requiring 2+ years of EP and Cath Lab experience and active certification.

Details

• Work in an acute care setting within an advanced electrophysiology lab
• Three EP suites with a combined Cath Lab and EP caseload averaging 22 cases per day
• Procedures include ablations, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and advanced electrophysiology interventions
• Utilizes St. Jude and Webster EP equipment
• Epic EMR system is used in the unit, with Epic experience preferred
• Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekend or call requirements
• All suites operate as a combined unit focused on a one-team approach

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrophysiology and catheterization lab settings
• Active RCES, RCIS certification, and BLS required
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Active state or compact licensure required where applicable; pending licenses or certifications not accepted
• Experience with sedation and phase 1 recovery, ICU or PACU experience is a plus
• Ability to circulate and assist in procedures; scrubbing in is not required
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
• Two professional references: one supervisor from the past 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years

• Core staff completes the majority of documentation
• Closed on holidays, with volunteer coverage only for emergency or weekend cases
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Preference may be given to candidates open to extra hours due to high case backlog
• Lead tech and charge nurse support available depending on staffing
