American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with Level 1 trauma experience for a hospital OR position on the night shift.

Details

• Work in a hospital operating room as a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Night shift schedule consisting of 4x10 hour shifts from 20:30 to 6:30
• Level 1 trauma setting requiring experience with a range of surgical cases
• Floating to other units, including as a Patient Observer (Sitter), is required
• Cerner EMR is used in the facility, and experience is preferred but not required
• Must cover a fair share of call and holidays during the contract

Requirements

• Active CST certification required
• MO or Compact state license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years total surgical tech experience with at least 1 year in the operating room specialty
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Must provide two professional references

Additional Information

• Role involves supporting a variety of surgical procedures in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to float to other units and to patient observation roles as needed
• Candidates may return without re-orientation if returning within 18 months, with a required 9-month gap between assignments
• Must work at least 50% of holidays during the contract
• Local candidates within 75 miles are eligible at a reduced rate
• No re-orientation required for candidates returning within 18 months
