American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with Siemens scanner proficiency and ARRT or NMTCB certification for a contract position.

Details

• Position is in a hospital setting on the MRI unit
• Shift is 4x10s, 12:30 PM–11:00 PM, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Call required every 4th or 5th week and one holiday on-call shift
• Unit features two 1.5T Siemens Aera MRI scanners
• Performs neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, specialty exams (breast, enterography, pacemakers)
• ICU patients are scanned regularly
• Does not perform cardiac, prostate, CSF flow studies, MSA extremities, or conscious sedation
• Utilizes Epic EMR
• MRI safe ventilator, IVAC, and monitoring equipment available

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience required for travelers
• Experience with Siemens MRI scanners required
• ARRT or NMTCB certification required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with IV starts is needed
• License required if applicable
• Traveler's permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the central facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Charcoal grey scrubs required
• Must complete non-billable pre-start onboarding modules averaging 12 hours
• Must be willing to float as needed
• Background checks and lab results required prior to consideration
• Return staff must be separated from prior OhioHealth staff role for at least 366 days to be eligible
• First-time travelers considered
• More than one call-off may be grounds for termination
