American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with experience in robotics, vascular, and orthopedics for a hospital OR position in California.

Details

• Work in a hospital operating room as part of a multidisciplinary surgical services team
• Day shifts of 4x10 hours with varying start times, typically between 10:30-21:30 or 12:45-23:15
• Frequent collaboration with RNs, surgeons, and healthcare staff
• Handles robotic, vascular, and orthopedic surgical cases
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Current OR Tech Certification (CST)
• Valid California state license required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years recent surgical technologist experience
• Demonstrated experience in robotic, vascular, and orthopedic procedures
• Must provide copies of all certifications at the time of consideration
• Availability for lab work within 3-5 days of offer
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsible for planning and organizing scrub and preparation aspects of surgical patient care
• Must maintain AORN standards of professional practice
• Orientation includes required e-learning modules totaling 1-5 hours, with any excess completed during onboarding
• Return staff must have been away for at least 1 year to be eligible
• Only one holiday time off will be approved during assignment
• Candidates must meet a 50-mile radius requirement
• Local candidates are accepted at a local rate
• Compliance with facility background policies is required
