Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with NBSTSA and BLS certifications and at least 1 year of experience for an adult surgical services assignment.

Details

• Work in a hospital endoscopy setting with an adult patient population
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Locals within 75 miles accepted at a lower rate
• Bi-weekly orientation available for new hires

Requirements

• Current NBSTSA certification and BLS required
• Minimum of 1 year of surgical technology experience required, 2 years highly preferred
• Proof of required certifications must be in-hand at the time of consideration
• License required if applicable
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions accepted
• Ability to provide one supervisory reference from the past year
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include preparing surgical suites, assisting during endoscopic procedures, and maintaining sterile environments
• Modules must be completed during orientation or the first week as assigned
• First-time travelers are eligible for this position
• A minimum of 3 weeks lead time is required between booking and start date for credentialing and compliance
• Holiday coverage expectations may apply based on scheduling needs
• Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided during orientation
