American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for an acute care hospital assignment, requiring ARRT certification, BLS, and CA licensure.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital X-Ray department
• Responsible for 30-35 scans per shift
• Patients include a variety of general diagnostic radiology cases
• Variable 4x10 hour self-scheduled shifts with start times at 04:00, 06:00, 07:00, 09:00, 13:00, 18:00, and 20:00 determined by seniority
• No call requirements
• Weekend coverage every other weekend, up to 6 weekend shifts per schedule (6 weeks)
• Floating within unit and between local facilities as needed
• Epic EMR is used; experience required or preferred
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification
• Valid BLS certification
• Active CA Radiologic Technologist license in hand—no temporary licenses accepted (License required if applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years relevant X-ray experience required
• Must provide two supervisory references covering at least one year of employment within the past three years
• Ability to float between facilities within the state as required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are considered for this role
• RTO (time off) must be requested at time of submission; requests after submittal may be denied
• Must be available to work at least 3 out of these 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day
• All travelers expected to float as needed; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
• Former employees may return as travelers after a 3-month break and if living outside a 50-mile radius
• Scrub color requirements: Navy blue
• Pre-assignment online modules must be completed as part of onboarding process
