American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of cardiac ultrasound experience and proficiency in GE, Phillips, and PACS systems.

Details

• Work in a hospital cardiology department performing adult echocardiograms
• Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend shifts required as needed, rotated among staff
• On-call required after orientation period and is scheduled by staff sign-up
• Uses GE, Phillips, and PACS imaging systems
• No floating required
• Bi-weekly orientation provided

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Echo Tech or Cardiac Sonographer
• Current ARDMS RDCS (AE) or CCI RCS, and BLS certification required
• Proficiency with GE, Phillips, and PACS systems required
• Must provide one supervisory reference from within the last year for consideration
• Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions accepted
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs echocardiograms on adult patient populations
• Responsible for accurate imaging and data acquisition for physician interpretation
• Gray scrubs are required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment
• Locals within a 75-mile radius are accepted at a lower rate
• Requested days off must be included at time of consideration and are limited to 5-7 days
• Modules and compliance training are completed during orientation
• A minimum lead time of 3 weeks is required between booking and start date to allow for credentialing and compliance
• Annual modules and ongoing compliance are required
