Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 2-4 years of experience and Epic proficiency for a multi-hospital surgical services role.

Details

• Hospital-based setting within surgical services departments
• Day shifts: three 12-hour shifts from 11:00 to 23:00
• Required to float among up to five hospital locations within your skillset
• Handles an average of 20 surgical cases per day
• Call requirement is 1 day per week in a 4-week schedule and 1 full weekend (48 hours) per 4 weeks
• Scheduled holiday coverage is rotated with permanent staff
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
• 2-4 years of recent surgical technologist experience
• BLS certification required
• Experience using Epic charting system
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions

Additional Information

• Will provide support for a variety of surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment
• First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
• Local pay rate applies to candidates residing within 50 miles of the hospital
• License required if applicable
