American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with strong fluoro, surgery, portable, trauma, and diagnostic experience for a Level II Trauma Center.

Details

• Work in a main radiology department within a large hospital setting
• Care for inpatient and outpatient populations, primarily adults with occasional pediatric outpatients and emergency department cases
• Average caseload is 4 patients per hour, totaling approximately 40 patients per day, with 1:1 patient ratios
• Utilize GE and Siemens fluoroscopy rooms, Konica DR, Siemens x-ray rooms, GE portables, Carestream portable equipment, and GE CT scanners
• EMR system is Cerner
• Fluoroscopy, surgery, portable x-ray, trauma, and diagnostic radiography are core aspects of the role
• Shift lengths vary from 8, 10, or 12 hours, with weekend rotation occurring about once per month
• Floating is required throughout the department
• On call is voluntary
• One 8-hour hospital orientation plus 2-3 dayshift unit shifts for training
• Holiday coverage is dictated by facility policy

Requirements

• Current ARRT required; BLS required
• Minimum 1-year experience required with strong relevant skills; first-time travelers must have at least 2 years of experience
• Must demonstrate experience with fluoroscopy, surgery radiology, portable x-rays, trauma, and diagnostic x-rays
• CT biopsy drainage, trauma, angiogram (required), and stroke perfusion experience strongly preferred
• O-arm experience preferred; DEXA experience a plus but not required
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• License required if applicable
