Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT and BLS certifications for an acute care setting utilizing GE equipment.

Details

• Work in an acute care radiology department serving inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients
• Typical shifts are 12 hours, scheduled 9:30 AM–10:00 PM or 10:30 AM–11:00 PM Monday through Friday and 6:00 AM–6:30 PM on weekends
• Schedule includes day and evening shifts, holiday coverage, and call responsibilities
• Uses GE CT equipment with Allscripts Sunrise EMR
• A radiation badge must be supplied by the traveler’s agency
• No local travelers; candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience required
• Current ARRT certification and BLS required
• Experience using GE equipment and Allscripts Sunrise EMR preferred
• Valid driver’s license required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Position involves performing CT scans for a variety of patient populations including emergency and inpatients
• Dress code allows any solid pants and appropriately printed or solid scrub top
• Radiation badge must be provided by the traveler's agency
• Candidates who previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have a 2-year break before reapplying
• Travelers are not allowed to work with WVU for longer than one cumulative year without a 2-year break
