American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a night shift role requiring 1+ year of experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Position based in a teaching hospital with Magnet designation and Level 1 Trauma status
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with holidays as needed
• May float to other buildings on the same campus within scope of practice
• On-call rotation of 3-4 days per month
• Epic EMR is used and experience is preferred
• Caseload per tech may vary
• Setting includes radiology and cardiology x-ray procedures
• Orientation during the first week may be on day shift before transitioning to the set schedule

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year x-ray technologist experience required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA accepted)
• ARRT (R) and SCRQSA (R) credentials required
• O/C-Arm experience required
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency
• License required if applicable
• Modules must be completed pre-start and average 4 hours
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Applicants may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, particularly from June through November
• Scrub color requirement is teal tops with black bottoms
• Parking for nights and weekends requires a one-time $20 payment for a parking pass
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Must be separated from facility employment for 1 year to be considered as a traveler if previously a permanent staff member
• 60-mile radius rule applies; locals are accepted at a lower rate
• Time off (RTO) must be requested at submission and will be approved based on facility needs
