Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT and BLS certifications, and proficiency with O-arm and C-arm equipment.

Details

• Work in a large teaching hospital with Magnet status and Level 1 Trauma designation
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, Friday to Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including holiday coverage as needed
• On-call rotation required, approximately 3-4 days per month
• May float to other buildings on the same campus as needed
• Varied daily caseload per technologist
• Use of Epic EMR system
• Adult trauma patient population

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of radiology technologist experience
• Current ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• O-arm and C-arm experience required
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by the traveler
• Trauma experience preferred
• SSN and valid driver’s license required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Duties include performing diagnostic X-ray imaging and supporting trauma services
• Team environment in a high-acuity hospital setting
• First-time travelers are accepted
• All requested time off must be disclosed at application; approval is based on staffing needs
• Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility; locals accepted at a reduced rate
• Previous staff (including PRN) must be separated from the system for 1 year to be considered
• Teal top and black bottoms required for scrubs
• Parking available nights and weekends with a one-time pass fee
• Pre-start onboarding includes approximately 4 hours of facility-required online modules
• During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
