Description

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Services GI/Endoscopy Tech with at least 1 year of experience and Epic charting skills for a trauma level II environment.

Details

• Work in a GI/Endoscopy unit within a hospital surgical services department
• Day shifts, Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Three call shifts per week and two weekend call shifts per month required
• Uses Epic for charting
• Modules are completed onsite during orientation

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a GI/Endoscopy Tech
• Trauma level II experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Current valid state RN license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assisting with endoscopy and GI procedures in a trauma level II setting
• No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
• Former permanent staff must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be automatically approved; no time off allowed in the first week of orientation
• Onsite orientation includes required modules tracked by transcript
