American Traveler is seeking an experienced Vascular Sonographer with ARDMS and Vascular Certification for a travel assignment, requiring proficiency in venous and carotid ultrasound procedures.

Details

• Work in a hospital setting within the sonography department
• Position specializes in vascular sonography including upper and lower venous studies, venous insufficiencies, DVT, and carotid ultrasound
• Shifts available are 4x10 hours, with daytime (6:00 to 16:00) and nighttime (16:30 to 2:30) options
• Assignment length is 6 weeks
• Epic EMR experience is preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in vascular sonography
• Active ARDMS, Certificate for Vascular, and BLS (AHA or American Red Cross only) required
• CA state license required
• Proficiency in upper and lower venous imaging, DVT, and carotid ultrasound procedures
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must provide 2 supervisory references from within the past year
• Candidate must be available for lab work within 3–5 days of offer
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates must comply with a 50-mile radius requirement for travel eligibility
• Locals are accepted and will be compensated at a local rate
• Return travelers must have been absent from the facility for at least one year to be eligible
• Only one holiday request for time off will be approved during the contract
• Mandatory completion of orientation modules through e-learning, typically 1–5 hours
