American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with 3 years of experience and a graduate from an ultrasound program for an evening shift assignment.

Details

• Work in a hospital ultrasound department
• Performs scans including vascular (DVT), pelvic, OB, RUQ, renal, scrotum, carotid, appendix, and aorta
• Supports a busy ER and inpatient population
• Uses Philips ultrasound equipment and Epic EMR; experience with both is required
• Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM evening shift
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• May work independently for part of the shift

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer
• Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program is required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ARDMS certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Must provide recent license or certification verification within 30 days of start
• COVID vaccination proof may be required
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Primary duties include independently performing a broad range of ultrasound examinations and supporting emergency and inpatient services
• Shift may require working alone at times
• Scrubs or dress code not specified
