American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist experienced in ER, Level 1 Trauma, and NICU/neonatal care for night shifts and weekend coverage.

Details

• Work in a hospital radiology department with a focus on general X-ray imaging
• Perform X-rays in emergency room, trauma, pediatric, and neonatal care settings
• Utilize Shimadzu Rad-Speed, Shimadzu Mobile Art MX8, AGFA DXD 100, and Orthoscan mini-C-arm equipment
• Night shift schedule with options for 10-hour shifts, primarily Friday through Sunday
• Holiday coverage is required, with additional call if local
• Procedures include all ED general X-ray exams, trauma and reduction imaging, pediatric exams, and portable X-rays throughout the facility

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification and active Ohio state license required; compact licenses accepted if applicable
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in X-Ray specialty prior to travel
• Must have experience in ER, Level 1 Trauma, and NICU/neonatal imaging
• All certifications and licensure must be active at time of consideration—no pending credentials
• Negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start
• At least one supervisory reference from the X-ray specialty within the past 12 months required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsible for a full range of X-ray procedures, including trauma, reductions, neonate, and pediatric imaging
• Holiday and call coverage required for local travelers
• Candidates must be nicotine-free
• Scrub color is navy
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate to be completed during orientation with acceptable scores required
• Permanent candidates may not return to the facility for one year from their last work end date
• Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
• Background checks must be clear of open cases
