American Traveler seeks an experienced Surgical Technologist with strong sterile technique skills and BLS certification for a Surgical Services department position.

Details

• Work in a hospital Surgical Services unit with 3 operating rooms
• Perform tasks including picking cases from preference cards, preparing procedural instrumentation, and maintaining sterile fields
• Utilize equipment such as Stryker trauma implants, Stryker video system, Karl Storz video system, and Stryker sports medicine equipment
• Work 8-hour day shifts from 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, with 8 to 10 days of call required per month
• Hospital scrubs are provided

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Strong understanding and consistent practice of sterile technique
• BLS certification required
• Ability to maintain an organized sterile field
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include preparing cases, managing instrumentation, and upholding sterility throughout procedures
• One week of departmental and safety orientation will be provided
• Call coverage is a required part of this position
• Basic orientation to the unit is included
