American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/IR Technologist with at least one year of recent Cath Lab and interventional radiology experience, ARRT or RCIS certification, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Position based in a hospital Cath Lab with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Responsibilities include both Cath Lab and interventional radiology procedures
• Procedures performed include diagnostic right and left heart catheterizations, interventional cath, rotablator, IABP, closure devices, and sterile procedure and equipment setup
• Daily schedule consists of 4x10 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Patient care focused on middle adult to geriatric cases
• Utilizes Epic for electronic medical records

Requirements

• Minimum of one year recent experience in both Cath Lab and interventional radiology
• Must be able to scrub and circulate
• ARRT or RCIS certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the AHA are required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must have Florida or compact state license in hand for consideration
• Proof of vaccination status is required with no declinations accepted
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates must pass a pass/fail EKG/arrhythmia assessment, requiring 100% in the lethal rhythm section and an overall passing score of at least 83%
• A study guide is provided as part of online orientation
• Facility is smoke-free
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for a minimum of two years before eligibility as a traveler
• Modules must be completed pre-start and are non-billable
• Allied staff complete 4 hours and RNs complete 8 hours of modules as part of orientation
