American Traveler is seeking an experienced multi-modality CT/X-Ray Technologist with ARRT (R) & (CT), SCRQSA, BLS, and ACLS certifications for a 13-week contract in a Level 1 trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in a Magnet-designated, Level 1 trauma teaching hospital
• Provide imaging services in both CT and X-ray modalities
• Day shift schedule of 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every 3rd weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• Possible floating to similar units as needed
• Patient population includes emergency, trauma, pediatric, and orthopedic cases
• Utilizes Siemens imaging equipment, Epic EMR, and PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent multi-modality imaging experience in CT and X-ray
• ARRT (R) & (CT), SCRQSA, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with emergency, trauma, pediatric, and orthopedic exams highly preferred
• Proficiency with Siemens equipment and Epic charting system preferred
• Must provide own radiation badge (agency responsibility)
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Local candidates must reside beyond a 60-mile radius or will be considered at a lower rate
• Previous employees (including PRN) must have at least a 1-year separation before applying
• All requested time off must be declared at the time of application
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include producing quality imaging studies and ensuring patient understanding of procedures
• Participation in emergency response teams may be required during hurricane season (June-November)
• Mandatory teal blue top and black bottoms for scrubs
• Low-cost parking available for night and weekend shifts
• Non-billable onboarding modules must be completed prior to start
• Travelers can only be assigned to one unit/campus at a time
